Do you reallt believe that this Hippo prefers to be in the wild? Do you really think a hippo has the abiluty to think? Let me tell you this. Hippos are not like humans. They don't have fun and socialize and go to parties. They are wild animals. This hippo has a much easier and better time in the zoo. He is fed everyday, and does not need to search for food. He has his own shelter, which is cleaned out. His life expectancy also goes up by alot.

Also, It doesn't matter how wrong or inhumane it is (although I'd assume it's more humane than poachers murdering it for it's teeth.. the newest way of getting ivory) nothing you can say will change the facts of this animal's life. So don't bitch at me because I love every hippo in creation.

Yeah, it sucks for the hippo and all but at least he's not being hunted by ancient egyptians... least he's being fed and cared for. Least he's being taken to a freaking vet when he's sick.
