Boss Theme - Final Fantasy II NES Mario Paint

This is the music that plays during most boss fights in Final Fantasy II (NES version in Japan). The music was recreated with Mario Paint Composer.

While one of my least favorite Final Fantasy games, I really liked the music. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an OST mp3, so I had to do what I could from memory, and I may not have gotten all the harmonies in. Still, it's an NES game, so I don't think there could've been much to miss.

If you're interested in other classic Final Fantasy music (pre-PS2), I plan on recreating a lot more, so please feel free to subscribe to my videos. Also, if you have any specific FF requests, I'd be happy to take them, assuming I can find sheet music and an audio file for the song, so that I can fill in the missing gaps in the sheet music.

I thought FF2 NES didn't have boss themes. I know this one is the music for the Emporer in other versions.

The latter statement is correct. In the NES version, it was used as the boss theme starting with the Behemoth at the Arena. There was no separate final boss theme in the NES version.

Hey i've seen some of your works, is this really on the NES? cause i've never heard of it plus it kind of looks like a wii game xP, and since it's on the NES would it be on Ebay cause these seems kind of fun xD

Is what on the NES?

If you mean Final Fantasy 2, then no. It was only made for the Famicom. However, there is a fan translation ROM available, as well as numerous remakes.

If you mean Mario Paint, then it was originally released on the SNES. The program I am using is called Mario Paint Composer, which allows the use of accidentals and many other features not included in the SNES version.
