If you got extra speakers laying around and an 8 channel capable PC, why not just use them all?

  • nice, but you dont describe exactly how to connect em. iv got 3 sets of speakers but how do i connect em up?

  • Usually, you should have 3 audio jacks at the back. Plug them in, and use the software that came with it to configure them as outputs, instead of inputs.

If you have an 8CH surround sound, plug them in the green, orange, black and grey.

  • (homemade surr sound with one stereo) large speaker pair in front, small speaker pair in rear, run fronts in paralell, run single wires from front +speaker to rear + speaker terminals, then run the neg- terminals in rear to each other and it will cancel the voice in rear speakers and cause a natural delay from front to rear and will only drop the resistance by 1 ohm nominal. the front volume will raise the volume of all 4 spkrs at same time, its been around since stereo

  • You can do this with a TV too. I have it set up in my room now.
