    They are a single act in the Ordinary Form; in the Extraordinary Form (for which Byrd was writing) they may be split up.

  • The Sanctus and Benedictus really are a single movement, as is clear from consulting a Missal. That's why each is so short when they're split up.

    Nevertheless, a FLAWLESS performance.
