Reminds me of that 1990's saying from MCC Church. "We are the body of Christ and we have AIDS." A "we" faith and "we" world, vs "us and them" is great to strive for.

It is inspirational. Sometimes people just need to hear what they don't want to hear. It's not shooting "them" down. He sings "If WE are the body" - he's taking responsibility for it as well. It is a call and a challenge to be Christ for others.
