My Dad introduced to Yankee baseball way back in '76. I'm thankful he did'nt live to see this sad moment in U.S. history. Even though they won the Series, the site of Yankees Stadium being turned into rubble would have broken his heart.

I still think the yankees should have bought the stadium from the city and been the first team to have 2 stadiums. image if they only brought big series like the one against the red sox last august into the old place. It would be an unbelievable atmosphere! But, NY has that take a park give us a park rule.
