We settled into the car for the 20 minute drive back to the house with the radio on,
though, we weren't really listening.
When we arrived at the house, we ended up parking on the street for the number of
cars in the driveway.
I helped Elen out of the car and we walked up to the porch, greeted by Kevin.
"Hey! Your not gonna be very happy."
I just shot him a confused look as we walked past and into the house.
"Mom! Dad! Where are you?!"
"We're down here!" They called from the little music room we had in the basement.
I signaled to Eleanor to stay where she was and went down to greet my parents.
"What's up?" I asked as i reached the bottom of the stairs and noticed a suited man
in our living room.
"Well, this man is offering us the chance to start a worldwide tour with you boys but it
would start in two weeks."
I froze in my place, we weren't supposed to go on tour for another two months and as it
was I was going to do everything I could to find a way to keep Eleanor with me.
"When would we have to leave?"
"In about a week and a half so we can fly to Australia for the start and have the time to
get set up and what not."
I felt like I was about ready to cry. I was really banking on the month or so we had left
to find a way to keep us together.
I nodded to them and then turned and walked back upstairs.
