I found Steve Ward like a rare treasure at an Antique Mall in Ohio. Mr. Ward played everything from Tennessee ragtime to 70's classic rock including Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, and more. Gifted and serene, Steve made the entire place warm and bright with melodious sounds and thought-provoking lyrics. I hope you like this song. Mr. Steve Ward on Guitar, and me on camera.
steve is a great player. truly a human jukebox. at home in many styles and if you can stump him on a tune you'd be the first. personally i think his natural sound is somewhat like that of michael franks but it's all steve ward and all good. great post. btw steve can be heard fri. and sat. every week at casey's steak house on east main st. in springfield oh. 6-9 pm

I've heard Steve play many times. There are very few artists who can match his style. He knows his guitar intimately and he has a tremendous vocal range. You should hear him do Louey Armstrong or Johnny Cash and then hit those really high notes. This performance on utube does not do justice to his style. Just go to the Antique center on a Sunday afternoon and hear him live.
