The Twilight Sad from Glasgow, supporting Cougar on this occasion. This is 'I am Taking the Train home'. Great band, they created a real presence. The lead singer and whole feel of the band and set is very early-Joy Division (or how I imagine it was)! Their Cd doesn't do their live set justice, its too polished. Wait for the end, its worth it.
Arab strap with a charged style Shoegazing. Everytime I've seen em live (aggree the CD is a bit flat in comparison) it's been intense - that's what the do. The songs do to tend to merge together a bit, and they all sound like variants on thier 4 best songs, but they were an extended noise band- but the overall the experience is cathartic and blows away the cobwebs.

Oh man, I don't get tired of watching their live videos. I can only hope to see them live one day!
And I totally agree with thismodernpanda comment on the Joy Division link.

Good video & great band.
Although to be fair the only links to Joy Divison is James Graham's stage presence, the music & rest of the band are very little like JD...
