For the record, Nickelback played the halftime show for FREE to support the United Way. The guys have paid their dues and work damn hard. I've been a fan since they were just a local band playing bar gigs. If you don't like them, that's fine. You're entitled to your own opinion and musical taste, but to hate on them for doing a good deed just makes you look like an ignorant ass.

@Blackbird36100 totally agree with Blackbird here. NB puts out quality music, always a good melody and writing. The message in the music has become quite good the past few albums. Something I don't expect all you American Idol groupies to understand. This is a band that made it the hard way, before the internet or reality shows. Chads got a heck of a voice, even out of the studio which is rare. Quality band for sure
