they have no right to kill a snake. he's doing what nature programmed it to do. dog's life isn't any more important because there's an affinity to us humans. both are important and that's what i'm trying to get at. and threat or not, the snake could have been sent to a zoo, not killed. bottom line.

Though I do not believe they should have killed the snake (you can always tranquilize it and set it free somewhere else) I'm very glad they saved the dog. Most people would have just let go but that shows just how important that dog was. That's sacrifice for a friend, even if not human.
