    I am giving you a little bit of information for your future endeavors.

  • I am just sharing this with you just in case you do another repair on this structure in the future. I am NOT one of the TYPICAL ROOFERS that criticizes everyone's work. I am getting a little bit of information for you future endeavors. When you install the tar is should encompass the entire bottom of the flashing. The tar should bleed out of the sides of the base when you place it down. Otherwise, the water will just go underneath and reach the nails you installed and eventually leak.
