Thank you for your comment and your sort of right as in 1964 that was when Mods vs Rockers became part of our vocabulary as a 13 year old and back then it was a huge decision to make but I went with Mods and by the time I was 17 / 18 I was a hippy and then I became a glam rocker and then punk and in my case lastly new wave before the whole dance / trance stuff took over !!!

Dear Tonebars, We pay tribute to the music of 1964 - 1970 and one of the most exciting Shows we perform is our "Mods vs Rockers Show" It just so happens that this video was taken from our headlining gig at Faaker see in Austria for Harley Davidson for a huge audience and when we launched into Kashmir the whole place erupted. We are entertainers above all and this allows us greater variety for our audiences. I was an original Mod and The Who made it all happen !!!

yeh i checked that out before..nice one.. not a big SF fan particularly, although done Hammond duty in the past with The Small Fakers, but Marriots pack of 3 were special. Great memories of the Half Moon and Marriot almost too drunk to stand and yet still able to pull off an amazing performance. I been a Mod at heart since 78, although havent always been in 'mod' bands, i did the cabaret/holiday camp thing for a while lol.. Hope u guys have a good gig tonight in Pompey.

you certainly have a helluva of show Johnny, and i'm not knocking it. From my understanding of it (and i'm not old enough to have been there..), the original Mod scene was over by 64.. ...but hey that's all historical bulls**t i guess, most people couldnt care less, and it's all good music anyway isnt it.. and yeh i love The Who, saw em several times.. and Steve Marriots pack of 3 many times but i just think if its not Soul/R&B or Bluebeat then its not proper 'Mod Music', but just my opinion.

Apologies.. dont mean to be offensive in anyway.. but i can't see what this has to do with Mod.?. sounds a lot like Led Zeppelin to me.. good band of musicians, shame about the name.
