In this episode we look at new figures from the following lines: Legendary Encounters (Fastclaw and Thronback), P-65 (Warg, Exotic Idol and Male Pit Fighter), Pathfinder (Serpentfolk Evoker and Degenerate Serpentfolk), Savage Worlds (Hangin' Judge) and Dark Heaven Legends (Dar Dimplefoot).

  • The first lizardman shown and that halfling thief, even with shoes, are the two hilights from this episode for me. Although I don't have an immediate use for either. Also have to give out thanks to Reaper for those Halloween Treat bags they included with the October orders. Free paint and candies are always appreciated. My treat mini was a pair of Jack o' Lantern Pumpkins.

  • The lizardfolk evoker might make a sweet slann mage priest, though albeit a rather slim one. If you put him on a true slann's platform or simalir piece of floating terrain, he might make for a rather imposing centerpiece for the army. On that thought he'd make a great a great Tzeentch Sorcerer on a disk, or a tomb priest for an army themed on the asp goddess. Any excuse for using Julie Guthrie's work really, since she's gifted when it comes to mini sculpting.

  • I picked up Dar last weekend at the FLGS, it really is a handsome little mini. I have done several D&D character themed comissions, and have noticed that there has been a distinct lack of dynamiclly posed halflings, so this model is a welcome addition.

The hanging judge does indeed look sweet, will look forward to grabbing that.

I think the dinos have missed the mark for me personally, as I think they look very similar to something you might pick up at the toy store in a "Bag of Dinos".
