Originally recorded in Brad Delp's basement on his 24 track recorder before their first album was released. The song is slightly over recorded but it was done by Boston and not by me. Hope you enjoy!!

  • Too bad that more people werent into Boston... Kinda sucks

  • Sweet Boston is my favorite band!

  • @gatner1 Thanks, that's good info. I wondered how anyone could multi-track in a home studio in 1975 without spending a small fortune. Apparently the answer was you had to spend a small fortune.

  • Thanks for posting these! These were done on a Scully 12 track on 1 inch tape at 15 ips. Tom practically used his life savings to buy all the equipment for his basement studio. Incredibly, these demo's were passed on by every record label at the time, including Epic. Truly a classic album.

  • my God this is BAD-ASS!...its so in your face.....LOVE IT!

  • cool version, the song just matured a little when they recorded for the first album. My band has songs that have done the same. Its great to hear this version. Thanks for posting.

  • WOW sounds almost better than released version

  • Not much changed from these demo tapes to the actual album. That just shows you have much talent Tom has and how amazing Brad was

  • wow.

  • And it was a 12 track, lol.
