  • wtf????bug out LOL...if i where to bug out it would be on my 98 honda foreman 4x4 400 quad...with a lifted trailer 55 gallon barrel of fuel tent sleeping bag,my gun knife ....I would be in the woods.cave or moutain 55 gallons of fuel will carry my butt

1500 miles or I could lay low for months to zone down on On someones property to get fuel On the grab and go..

  • @paynsterpaynster Well it's good that your thinking out a plain , but i can't agree with any of it . your 55 gallons of gas is a 475 lb rolling bomb . if you quad does start and charge it's battery and get's you out of there . it's hard to hide with it's 450 lb bomb behind it ( you used some gas by now ) if your plan is to" live by looting" , I hope you are stopped early on . the rest of us will have enough problems without you adding to them .

  • how susceptible do you think the regulator on the alternator and solenoid on the starter would be to emp?

  • @beast12101 part 2: you did not say what vec. or year it gets worse the newer it is . you said alternator so that's where we start : early 60s to mid 70s machanical voltage regulator NO DAMAGE ! . 70s to late 80s electronic VR but a simple two transistor setup, sorta hard to kill . newer and new stuff , forget it its TOAST . digital VRs feedback data streams to the body control ECC/ECM !!!!! forget it !!!!! hope i helped . good luck your going to need it , we are all going to need it !

  • @CactusBobsPlace its a 77 international scout, though I did put a high amp alternator in it from Mean Green. Same with the starter, but I have the originals. The only other thing Im worried about in the pertroinix ignition I put in the distributor, but again I have the original points.

  • @beast12101 good you kept the originals ! . keep a new set of points and condenser in your glove box ,with all the hardware and feeler gauge and tools to do the switch over .....when we get hit , you can switch and go .you may not be charging but with THAT truck you can run a long long time on just the battery

  • @beast12101 I know you love your truck but if at some point you need to replace it or can add a second truck/car to your lifestyle . think about an older diesel . any GM 5.7-6.2L FORD 6.9-7.3 IDI non turbo Dodge first gen cummins all of these have little electronics and whats there can be bypassed easily . you have great fueling options WVO,SVO, used trans fluid , used motor oil . any oil you can filter -you can burn .......beats a 6 hour line at a gas station for $10 gal gas !

  • Bob I have a 1993 7.3 F250 non turbo can you tell me where the transmission module is located under the hood? Thanks for the video

  • @beast12101 first the easy one . solenoids and relays will not be effected by a normal EMP . a solenoid is just wire wraped around a metal core nothing else .its a real hearty thing and hard to destroy . some small relays contain electronic timer boards or small reverse polarity diodes these may be wiped out ruining these relays but the relay itself inside would still be fine

  • On a "dollar per destruction" ratio, an EMP strike on America would probably create the most havoc for the cost.

Whether the enemy is internal or external, I truly feel that an EMP incident is planned and inevitable for our country.
