those were the best days of my beloved country...the day of respect and honor...nowadays it's totally different...iii---eee Solomon Islands is going down the drain..

funny it was 3 years before its independence, you were at the best times. hard to see whats become of it.

NO!! not enjoyable these days, too much politics, betelnut, marijuana, and people killing each other. but that's what happens when western life is introduce. nice film by the way. home is not the way i remember.

Very nice footage. Although the location is somewhat different, this still reminds me of the 3-year experience we had in Papua New Guinea from 1974-77. We had 2 very young boys so the scenes you have of kids (yours I presume) are a welcome touch also. Nice job of restoring and adding the music track.
