Up side down is stupid. Why not plant it the right way so the roots grow down. Then just hang the bucket up and let the tomato grow over the side and down.

*head desks* wtf are you doing. Sure you know you book smarts but . . .wtf just wtf. You could have easily put the plant in upside down first, then on of you held it while the other filled it. Jesus people.

@MikeysGirl2105 I guess because she wants half of the tomato trunk inside the bucket(the roots will grow out later), so put the soil first.

Good clip Anne. Appreciate the info & idea. I'm in yard today getting it all together for this years Discovery Bay-CA garden. Normally my tomades are in the dirt straigt up. but this year going to do the "topsy turvey" upside down idea for fun. Thnx!
