The 2nd in a series of weekly episodes from "Adventures of the Ten". This 4-minute video starts with a 1-minute highlight from our week in Yellowstone National Park's Winter Wonderland program. It is followed by our fortunate encounter with a nomadic pack of four wolves who had killed an elk the previous day. At 8am, we departed Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and two minutes later spotted the wolves at the first turnout outside town! The big black alpha male was up on a hill out of view while the other three feasted. We watched them feed for 5 minutes, the alpha male howled, and the three immediately stopped eating and trotted up the hill to the big boy. Our week immersed in Yellowstone Association Institute's Winter Wonderland program on snowcoach, snowshoes and skis made for an educational and inspiring experience. Until we meet again!
That was pretty well done. Excellent footage.

Thanks for sharing such great footage. I can't wait to head back there myself. Hope the President will think twice and keep them endangered. They control their numbers just find, and we can learn more on how to coexist.
I was feeling the cold just watching this...Brrrr

well, nice to see people out in the park. Also nice to see some pics of elk and bison, expecially elk, since there seems to be fewer and fewer of them in the park now.......
