Yes brutal and merciless, but hot as well. It got my boner rageing hard!! I'm sure t felt good for the big guy...feeling that spine break in his powerful grip!!! I'm sure the pleasure of the kill made him hard as well!

This is the most brutal spine crushing that I saw ih the movie! Poor guy lived a few more minutes, broken in half!

@kheo No, you are thinking of Loan Wolf McQuade. That is the movie where they kill his dog. David Carradine was the villain in Loan Wolf McQuade.

no dog in this movie

You can take any high school wrestler, and he'll have experienced this hold. Realistically, you're not going to kill an able-bodied man in this manner. A weak, elderly person could be given a heart attack, but you're not going to sever the spine.

Put your thumb in his eye or bite his nose and he'll let go.

and that's how you make peanut butter!

Huggy bear.... but could a bear hug another bear and kill it too? ROFL!
-
They killed Chuck's girl though, I thought that was quite distressing. No dog was in the movie apart from that stupid dancing chihuahua at the end...

An anaconda can do it, so why cant you or I :P
Could a man really crush another person to death with his arms?

Yes, I don't see why not. As long as the hugger was strong enough, he could break his victim's spine, or compress the lungs enough that the victim couldn't breathe and thus suffocate. Alternatively, the constriction around the body could raise the victims blood pressure to the point they have a heart attack. That's how large constrictor snakes (pythons, anacondas, etc) kill their prey, so the principle could theoretically be applied to a really powerful bearhug I imagine.

Hmm, beeen a long time since I saw the full movie, but I don't remember a dog in this scene. As far as I know they just kill Lee and kill/kidnap the girl he's protecting.
