@88Matija This video seems to have been filmed in Germany. From what I know now the swastika is a symbol banned in Germany.

White 14 left Santa Monica years ago and it now flies with the Russell Aviation Group in Niagara Falls. The Flying Heritage Collection has an impeccably restored E3 that is currently flown. It's scheduled to fly on Sept. 25 at their museum. The other 3 flyable G models all were originally Buchon aircraft. There are a few other restorations in the works, but slow progress.

@MoxleyMauser its not original-its hispano...must be the "Dittes"Me 109...it came from spain at te beginning of the 1980s by Hans Dittes from Mannheim.later he decided to build a 109 g-10 version from it-1998 it had an accident while rolling and being bought by EADS Manching....in Spain they had a Rolls Royce Merlin and fly active til 1967...

@opmdevil the me 109 in finland are only in museum,not flyable...there is now only one original flyable left:the white 14 at museum of flying in santa monica/usa

most planes of the era are worthless on the ground, the Sitfire had the same landing gear arrangement, thank you for posting this. there is no question that is not a merlin in her, very classic, very nice. keep em flying!!!

It is great the German WW2 technology is still amazing 60+ years later
this is no equal to German craftsmanship!
