@melbraymond i dont think order matters that much. it would be best if you could remove victims gear (but leave it hanging on), remove your gear fully, then push away the victims fully inflated bc

I thought in the PADI Rescue Diver Course, which I am assuming that you are going to be both rescuer and victim going to be gear off, isn't it the rescuer that is supposed to remove his gear first?
