  • yeah di youknow that they are a christian band?

  • the locker room...that's a really cool mental hook to dwell on...that there's a bigger task to be done on the gamefield.

  • this was cool how they were able to play at the Dove Awards, lol the guy that was in the croud shouldve been given a microphone, nd it was funny how the camera decided to zoom in at one stage and get a closeup

  • Wow. His last comment is amazing. THAT is why I love the Jon Foreman and Switchfoot.

  • they are to Christians... they just dont like the music genre "Christian band"...

  • Yeah, as many have said, they are Christians who make music. But, since "Christian Band" generally refers to bands who make and play music for the Christian subculture, it doesn't really refer to them. They themselves have done a lot to combat the divorce of Christianity from mainstream culture. I've been a fan since they were performing on county fair stages at music festivals, and with every label move they make, they gain more respect from me.

  • They are an independent band. That means no labels. Its all about the music. They are Christians who play musis. Not people who play music for Christians. They attend all these christian events, partly because that is how they started. Under Christian labels. But forget about the labes or what events they attend. Focus on the music and on the lyrics. They are more profound and wise than most out there. Switchfoot shall forever rock on.

  • If they aren't a christain band then why are they at christain festivals and get to gethers? Think about it.
