The original is one of my favourite PG songs, in fact, one of my favourite songs, period. When I saw "remix" I shuddered - "What the #### have they done to it?". But I'm really glad I listened to it. I actually prefer this version!! This is so incredibly haunting. I like to think of myself as a "man's man", but this made me misty eyed. Stunning.

@marcusdolby1 What?! An artist who was 20 years ahead of his time (at least) in embracing Low-Fi/Dark/etc.. elements, and creating remixes.... in analogue? How could this be? I'm 24, and I thought MY generation invented everything cool?
-- Just kidding. This remix floored me when I first heard it, new. As another user stated, it somehow completely stands on its own as a viable song; hearkening to the original, it reinvents itself with an even-greater sense of ominous haunting,
Fantastically done.
I'm with the majority here. I usually absolutely cannot stand remixes of classic songs because they completely miss the mood and feel of the original. (I still want to throttle the chump that "redid" David Essex's "Rock On" a decade or so ago)
This maintains both the mood and feel, without just regurgitating the original song. MA just sold a CD to me, tomorrow.
