@vinizan , This is recycling, gumbah! The oil he is using is waste oil and it is being put to good use in a furnace for melting metal to make other useful items he has the creativity and imagination to make. This method is used with great success in powering generating stations around the world. You eco freaks need to get your head out of your butt..

@yattytotheyatt It's not the right way, used oil has too much toxic elements... you can recycle the oil filtering so you can reuse it

maybe the flame could have been safer if it were upright as it would be close to the floor when up to pace / im looking for an idea on a 12 volt blower were you could set up anywere great vid though have subbed

how do you get the oil to fire from the start?
To start up I hang a rag soaked in paraffin inside, light it and start the blower, but control the amount of air going in.
There is soon a swirling flame, then start the oil. With luck and controlled blower flow I let it get hot, the rag burns away and I drop the top flap.

It's gravity fed.
Warm oil is best but I have raised the oil tank higher to get it to flow in cold weather.
Atomization is done by the blower, but once its up to temperature the heat vaporizes drops anyway.
