This is just so damn wonderful. How do these artists orginate such spectacular sounding and heartfelt music? This is the culmination of art, science, skill, culture, heart and inspiration. But mostly the love of making it happen by the musicians.

@borecleaner1 i think i was on that same marine base! i had just come back from cambodia and was in rehab to kick my opium habit. this song helped me through it and i have to thank jesus christ and daisy jane for my wonderful wife and 6 children! god bless america, not just the country, but also the band!!!!!

@dan7dees This tune was on AM radio in september of 1975 when I came home from Marine Boot Camp...THAT is what it make me think of when I hear it. Just getting to know the girl I met in high school, who, incidentally is my wife of over thirty-three years. Lot's of challenges and trials, but also moments and seasons of sublime beauty. Two great grown kiddos...Life has been good to me..
