Dude I caught one of these in the swan river in montana fishing a nymph, I was like wtf is this. It was all black with tiger stripes.

@TLHookUp your tigers over there look diferent than ours yours look like a mak cross of some sort... ours look much more like a brown trout only with bands not spots...

i caught a tiger in a creek in PA this year. They havent stocked them for a 3 or 4 years. was the one i caught wild, or just a survivor from the last stoking of tigers?

Heard of put and take hatchery trout, that don't generally survive over the summer in shallow ponds.

the state must stock all of these, they are very rare in the wild. a wild tiger is a rare, once in a lifetime catch.

Big tigers are tough to come by but our MA state record is 9 lbs 7 ozs & the world record is 20 lbs 13 ozs.
