Replace your failed iPod video hard drive with a solid state drive.
Adapters can be bought at Tarkan.info/store.
update - In order to format the compact flash card to work properly,
Step 1 - put the card into the adapter, put it in the iPod, and close it up.
Step 2 - plug it in and let iTunes open up. Just do a restore, and it should work.
If step 2 didn't work, follow the steps here to restart the iPod in to 'Disk Mode'
step 3 - turn on and off the hold switch,
step 4 - press and hold the select and menu buttons until it restarts
step 5 -press and hold the select and play buttons, and it'll boot into 'Disk Mode'. Go back to step 2.
O_o min e make the EXACT noise but stil turns on and boots. it just empy (no songs) and itunes cant reconize it....

For the ipod touch? It's not possible at the moment I don't think. Secondly, I dont think there's a way to get the memory for the ipod touch separate from the board. This tutorial is for ipod 5g or 5.5g, not ipod touch.

@2010ngojo my ipod is 8gb and I put a 16gb memory I can do? (my ipod is 4G)

@giolici0us
The adapter will only work for 5th gen ipod and possibly the 6th gen. SO in short: it's unlikely that it'll work.

@danielRasta100
No, the ipod touch already has flash memory...
