The following short chronicles Dean Cary's call to life in the mission field. Dean, passed away from this earth on August 6, 2010 and was born again in heaven on August 6, 2010. Dean served the Lord all his life and it was an honor to highlight, in only a brief annotation, a moment in time from his amazing life.

Dean's life touched many of us. To me he was my parent's friend, colleague missionary, personal friend, mentor, inspiration and almost family. I personally know many people whom he inspired to become ministers and church leaders. He will always be in our hearts.

God's power is unlimited - thanks for the reminder. So many things I wanted to say at Dean's Eagle Pass, TX funeral - - he made me feel welcome in Honduras as a new gungho missionary, he let us have snacks and feel air conditioning at the mission home in San Pedro Sula, Dean just plain encouraged me not to give up! Super hospitable neighbor and friend too! Thank you Jesus for giving me Dean and Karen as friends! God bless the Cary family - Rhonda E.
