Raph is terrible in sc3. Considered one of the lowest tier characters becuase of his predictable attacks and utter lack of horizontal attacks. Conversely, mitsu is considered top tier. Problem here was a mediocre mitsu player. He needs to learn to sidestep and GI.
Raphael kicks ass. I always use him in the SC series. He was used well here, although he did not use Raphael's parries, fadeouts, or lunges. But never the less Raphael reigns supreme over Mitsurugi, due that his attacks are so slow and predictable. Raphael wins because he has style, speed, precision, and finesse. Plus Raphael has an arsenal of moves and techniques to take any opponent, that's fencing for you.
