@GeorgeCarlinIsInHell Of course Doug is going to be overshadowed by Brooks. Look at everything Brooks did for that organization and also did in the world of baseball. Not saying that Doug wasen't appreciated in Baltimore, because he was, it's just hard for anyone to ever step out of the shadows of a HOF, especially when you're the one who has replaced him. Steve Young didn't step out of Joe Montana's shadow until he proved he was a winner and wen't out and became SuperBowl MVP.

@ShamWasBetter You're an idiot for thinking Doug was anywhere close to Brooks. How many MVP's, World Series Championships, and, gold gloves did Dougie boy win? Nice play in the 79 ALCS but you're using one play to knock off Brooks. Brooks made many, MANY, great plays in the 1970 World Series that helped the O's win the championship. Big deal if he made an error in Game One, if a ball is hit to you 100 times like it was in that series, ANYONE is able to botch a play. Now shut up and sit down
