every game producer these days goes and fishes inspiration from something...
starcraft has a lot of aspects tht resemble this series, warhammer too,and im pretty sure even halo has some too XD tht spartan armor looks really familiar XD...seriously i agree with @hexalbly

Wh40k was inspired by this, and other things like robotech and aliens. starcraft was an american rip off of warhammer 40k

yes... but you can't say that both SC and WH40K are copies of SST...
i know that Blizzard and Games workshop were inspired by SST, but they are a lot different...
anyway i agree with you (I'm a fan of SST and SC ... and WH40K XD)
P.S. Fallout also has power armor XD
