So sad, we're asking kids out of high school to socialize and regulate people twice their age and from a completely different culture effectively. Most of them probably still can't run their own lives let alone the lives of others. Sad for both the American young men and the Afghans.What a mess.

@C59Soldier Well considering that Afghanistan is a fucking great place to hide I think they probably didnt have any choice in the matter. After all the US was looking for him there for 10 years before realising that he was still in Pakistan. And like I said Saudis commit a crime and its hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans that pay with their lives. Seems rather skewed.

But then again they don't care about their own people, they care about power and control and backwards religious and social views... They can pick on innocent people all they want but when a trained and technologically advanced army invades they become nothing but a pack of cowardly dogs...

@C59Soldier Wont it? Its fact that NATO, the Afghan "government" have had dialogue with the Taliban. Reconciliation with them is the only way that we are leaving this empires graveyard. And I though AQ started this? Funny how none of the WTC attakers were Afghans or Iraqis.

The Taliban started this mess. Not the Americans... Everyone forgets that.

The Taliban are the ones responsible for this war and look at the suffering they inflicted on "their" country and people...

Oh well, Afghanistan isn't under Taliban control anymore and won't ever be again so I'm glad the Afghan people will have their country back soon and can move forward and not be held back by the religiously and socially backwards Taliban regime. And they can thank the Coaltion and ANA for it.

The young men are volunteers. And in Afghanistan they have done more good than most will ever do in their life.

Taliban was one of the most wicked regimes in history. Check out womens treatment under Taliban rule. I can't think of a worse way to treat a person

The Afghans who want to be left alone are the MINORITY who want to keep the Taliban culture.

The vast majority DO NOT want to be left alone, want the US to stay & are very positive about there country's future
