"The Princess and the Frogadile" is a puppet show written for the 2011 Summer Reading Program by Children's Librarian Kimbre Chapman, performed by Kimbre, her assistant Cori M. Avara-Sanchez and Cori's daughter, Marina. The story is a fractured fairy tale based on the Frog and the Princess, followed by a short "rap." So where, oh where, is where is Kitten's room? Everywhere and anywhere -- she is a kitten after all! And like kids everywhere, her room never really gets clean (though the adult character Bear thinks it does.) Poem recited at beginning of show is public domain, author unknown. Soundbite from "The Flight of the Winged Monkeys" copyright The Wizard of Oz. Rap background song "Mission on a Sleepwalk" licensed from probangers.com
