It's hard to explain. The idea to do this tune just hit me one day, and here it is.

  • first decent track ive been able to get a hold of. thanx. forever in your debt

  • LilPANSY08 - Much appreciated, thank you!

  • Superb technique mate! As soon as I've seen this, I've subscribed to your channel. I believe that I can learn so many things from you. That sliding technique is marvellous. That Tele has a nice singing tone man. The total arrangement of yours is so delicate but that tele part tears me apart. Wild man u know what I mean real wild. Stones forever!

  • grungenrocknroll - Thank you very much! I really enjoy playing slide. You should give it a try. I'm sure you would do great things with it. You have a great Strat sound, but I know you would do wonderful things with a Tele too!

  • very nice cover, thumbs up for this guy!

  • Wonderful!! This video comes close to being as entertaining and phenominal as your "Coming Back to Life...." video. BRAVO!! Thanks for posting.

  • Opinions about things like this are never right or wrong, but I appreciate you're overwhelmingly supportive comments about my music overall.

  • After listening to this a few more times, I find I may be wrong about the white guitar solo. I like it more each time; especially at its end...sends chills though my neck. Besides, you know far more about these things than I.

  • rd2ed - Thanks, as always, for the unwavering support! The white guitar solo was something that was meant to break the pattern a bit, but I do see what you mean.

...and don't worry, phase II of "There's Always Hope" is coming this weekend. The holidays are over, and the finger is healed. All I need now is a good 8 hours of sleep, and I'll be all set.

  • I have listened around and I would not call this, by any stretch of the imagination, a cover. This beautiful music and arrangement is Keith. You own it. To be honest...the only part I felt was out of place, was the white guitar solo...it was too brash for the mood you set. I really liked the three and sometimes four track parts but gosh it must have been a lot of work. Thank you!
