fantastic movie 4 stars out of 5, i'm surprised that james stewart never won the best actor oscar, he should have and without a doubt i think this is one of the most uplifting and powerful movies i have ever seen, 1939 was truly a great year for hollywood

I love this movie. Im 18 but when I was little, when the other kids used to dream of being the next jordan I was dreaming of being like Mr. Washington and countless of other men and women who stood up to the likes of Jim Taylor and looked out for the other guy. I hope one day I have enough courage to stand up for what I believe like that.
