Epson Pro 3800 refillable cartridges: first printing video

As promised my new improved video how I print on this cheap but really high quality high gloss photo paper sold in the Aldi (Sihl X high gloss photopaper 280 gsm) with my Epson Pro 3800 printer.

The ink inside these refillable cartridges is from Image Specialists (K4 inkset) and print quality is really astonishingly good. I could use the same custom profile for my Sihl photo paper for the Epson K3 inkset, without seeing any noticable differences.

This video is taken prior to the second one, when I reinserted the cartridges to show how to install the cartridges. Also because the first video might give you the impression these cartridges are fake, so I now made the print and immediately after this, I opened the printer cover revealing the cartridges filled with ink. Note the ink level status of all cartridges on the display showing 100 % full for all cartridges.

Zoals beloofd een verbeterd filmpje hoe ik met mijn navulbare Epson Pro 3800 inktpatronen en Image Specialists K4 navulinkt prints maak op het bekende Aldi Sihl X hoogglanzend fotopapier.

Deze navulinkt van Image Specialists is werkelijk van een fantastische kwaliteit en geeft afdrukken die niet te onderscheiden zijn van afdrukken met originele Epson K3 inkt. Zelfs met hetzelfde printerprofiel kon ik geen verschil zien tussen de twee inktsoorten. Deze pigmentinkt is bovendien veeg- en watervast en lichtbestendig.

Deze video is genomen voor de tweede, waarin ik liet zien hoe de patronen geïnstalleerd moeten worden. Ook omdat de eerste video de suggestie kan wekken dat deze patronen nep zijn en daarom begon ik eerst met het afdrukken en onmiddellijk hierna heb ik de printer cover geopend om de met inkt gevulde patronen te tonen. Merk ook de inktstatus van alle patronen op, die allemaal op 100 % vol staan.
