Perfect Cherry Blossom - SakuyaB, Stage 5

"Do you expect to be a threat using those trinkets as weapons?"

Oooh, Stage 5. This is probably my least favorite Stage 5 in the series, and that includes Subterranean Animism's hellish (literally!) Stage 5.
It's not that the stage itself is bad so much as the boss is frustration and rage embodied in a little girl.

Midboss - Youmu Konpaku (魂魄　妖夢)
Youmu's really not too bad as a midboss. Her midspells are waves of bullets based on your position, and her cards revolve around surrounding you with danmaku, then slowing everything down, allowing you to, y'know, SURVIVE.

Ghost Sword [Fasting of the Young Gaki]
幽鬼剣「妖童餓鬼の断食」
Oh my, how in god's name did I die here. This is such an easy card D:
Oh well, Youmu drops an Extend when you beat her, so the death is pretty much null.

Stage Boss - Youmu Konpaku (魂魄　妖夢)
Youmu's gotten a lot better with her sword in the past twenty seconds. :c

Hell Realm Sword [Two-Hundred Yojana in One Slash]
獄界剣「二百由旬の一閃」
I remember when I did a run of Stage 5 on Lunatic, just for shits and giggles. I thought the Lunatic version of this card was the easiest thing ever and captured it on my first try.
Not so much with the Normal version. ):

I would like to take the time to announce just how much I fucking hate Youmu's midspell after [Two-Hundred Yojana]. No, I did not die or bomb, but this attack is fucking bullshit either way.

Brute Sword [Karmic Punishment for the Idle and Unfocused]

As is this card.
Or maybe I'm just really bad at it, I dunno!
Still, having to bomb twice on the same card is embarrassing. ;-;

Human Realm Sword [Delusion of Enlightenment]
人界剣「悟入幻想」
Okay what is this.
This is Youmu's easiest card, how the hell did I die here. ):

Heaven's Sword [Five Signs of the Dying Deva]
天上剣「天人の五衰」
I actually really like this card. It's so much fun to play on Hard and Lunatic, and so pretty to look at.
I mean, most of the time, I'm not GOOD at it, but it's fun! I somehow captured this card, so yay me.


OKAY NOW I NEVER HAVE TO SEE YOUMU'S STUPID FACE AGAIN

For some reason, I thought "Time Paradox" when you bombed and Youmu slowed down time at 3:27

I died like 3 times on her trying to unlock the Extra stage on Normal.

And it doesn't help that you fight her again in the last stage <.<
