WTOC isn't horrible. And it's not an embarrassment to Savannah. Sure those things you say may be true, but the reporting and journalism is what counts. They have done an excellent job covering the stories in our area. That's why their number one. I don't like those editorials much either, but I don't mind anything else.

In fact, most of the people I know in Savannah can't stand him - and that includes military folks, too. They see right through the mindless faux-patriotism.

No changes. But I understand the things you're saying. Yes, they have this traditional/folksy way of delivering the news. And the way they use their graphics is kind of... well not up to par. But it still doesn't mean that they suck. Every station has a crappy side to them.

No. I'm currently here through March. I've lived in Savannah for pretty much my whole life, though, and unless there were definable changes to WTOC in the almost-a-month I've been away, it's still amateur hour on every level.
