Damn, that was AWESOME work!!
Now I am thinking, if you would want to keep that setup, you could move the gasifier to the bad, closest to the cabin, where you sit (the bed is so HUGE anyways), and perhaps arrange for some air heating coming in under your seats, from behind, to take advantage of the excess heat? Also, it would make it more discrete ;-)
I am so impressed with your work, and SO envious. I don't have space on our tiny parcel lot to do work like that, and I don't have a workshop.

@VictoryGasworks I could work with temp sensitive metal. believe me, it's not there without purpose.
How many pounds of wood does thing use (per mile) and can you give an equivalent in gas mileage?

Tip my hat to you Ben. I truly appreciate your efforts and enthusiasm. What once is only a vision and an idea can become a reality. Especially when one welds. Tremendous accomplishment. You have been putting some great vids together. You are helping and inspiring many of us about what may indeed be our future not long from now. Thanks!

Cool stuff...but wear a respirator when you weld. I have a dead friend who breathed welding gas for many years.

It is some type of governor, but it doesn't connect to any vacuum or linkage. Who knows? Wouldn't be the first time I've had left over parts.
