I can tell you this.... they paid The Beatles a TON of money, Ive heard their so stingy when it comes to selling rights and they cost millions, but when you have made the best songs in the history of this earth i guess you can do that

That's funny considering the Beatles don't own the rights to ANY of the songs used in this movie (Sony does). I once met one of the producers of this film and he told us the whole reason he was able to do the film was because Sony owned the rights to half their songs.

Honestly, it was an in interesting movie. Not the greatest movie. Not even a great movie, but a good movie and I enjoyed the attempt of translating the songs into film. Most of the "trippy" parts were a bit too much and the editing felt a bit disjointed. It was a bumpy ride, especially in the middle, but I enjoyed the last act and in a way, it was worth the ride. But I hardly know the history of rock and roll or the meaning of the Beatles' songs, so forgive me if you thought i was bad talking.

This movie is so artistic and gives such an amazingly creative way of using the songs in context and showing the meaning of the songs. The trailer isn't Nneraly as amazing as the film <3

I'm happy I saw the movie just because it's based on the music of the Beatles, but it wasn't that good. I expected more...
