In my opinion- no, he is not. He recently gave a significant donation to the 'love music hate racism' concert, without it the event could not have gone ahead. I guess that's not a lurid enough story for the nme to splatter across their front page.

Surely not higgolini. Moz said back in '84 after the Brighton bomb - "The sorrow is Thatcher remains unscathed" Cameron has tried to say how much he loved The Smiths but Morrissey is resolutely anti most mainstream political parties( though The Smiths did a gig to help Liverpool Councillors over the Poll Tax.) Moz does seem very interested in Englishness though.
