Yes it was Ricky & Pete from the Stargazers.
This was the very first original Jodimars/Comets gig outside USA since the 50s/60s. On later tours as the Original Comets they also had original lead guitarist Fran Beecher and drummer Dick Richards played rather than "just" sang as at Brean.
I still have the Brean programme somewhere...

Dave H. suppliied me with the tapes shot with Marshall's camcorder and also I think Joey's. Some songs are not complete, but I'll upload the best of them. Look out in the next installment for your introduction!
