  • Unfortunately just like all other invasive species around the world... the particular animals/insects must be euthanized or something to the same effect. I am a Ball Python breeder and I've also owned a Burm, and saddens me to think of helpless Burms being brought down. But because they do not belong there, they need to go to protect the rest of the native species that do belong. It is what it is unfortunately.

  • the owners are the only responsibles for this!

  • @hellow533 OMG....they DO NOT BRUMATE either.

  • @NineCatsz I'm SO FUCKING SORRY... THEY "BRUMATE".

  • @Inquisitor53 This is my last post on this site or any others concerning pythons.

Do forgive the some the grammatical errors.

I'll still read the postings here but will only respond on the poster's channel. So say what you feel needs to be said to me either here or send it to my channel but only if you're civil in your posts. I'll respond ASAP as I've other matters to attend to.

  • @Inquisitor53 Just remember, it is my backyard & I know it far better than any hot-head reading this. For your own sake don't even try.

Anyway, it maybe a losing fight & I may die fighting trying to control the uncontrollable but I'm not giving up. I was willing to give my life for a country that's given me freedoms that no other country has. Now I'm willing to do the same for the state that helped teach me the skills to survive that war.

  • @Inquisitor53 To those of you wishing my death due to my actions, pick a number & get in line. I wish you would've displayed the same zeal over coming down here to safely remove them when I offered my assistance to help locate & remove them several years ago. So you tell me who's to blame for what I now have to do?

I've seen plenty of death anyway, another threat means nothing. If you can handle all the ways the 'glades has to kill you then just maybe you can carry out your threat.

  • @Inquisitor53 I can understand python lovers getting upset due to my killing their pet's relatives but until somebody comes up with a viable alternative it's the only option on the board for attempting to control them. I really don't care for killing them but they never belonged here. Man introduced them & it's a shame the snake is the one to pay the price. But they are an invasive, destructive element to the land That has fed, educated, & sheltered me & I'm let it die without a fight.

  • @Inquisitor53 Now usark says there are less than 3,000, the state says over 150,000. But here's what I know from being there: There's damn sure more than just a few thousand. They damn sure survived the winter. They damn sure are spreading. Last year FL said you had to have a permit to hunt & kill them. Now it's FL law that if you see one anywhere outside you're obligated under law to kill it if possible, preferably by decapitation. Well, typical of govt response they reacted too late.

  • @Inquisitor53 Now they're everywhere in the 'glades & spreading north & people are still in denial. They deny they're a threat to the 'glades, or that the could winter killed them all off, or they can't live outside the 'glades. Yes, the media enjoys hyping things, that's how they make their money. Which ever station can make the biggest mountain out of the smallest molehill gets the ratings & money. But occasionally they do get it right.
