I hated this run for Macho Man. Not so much that he had a new look, but that it was clear he was trying to keep hip by having the three women and the new music. Plus it was gimmick man central, since 90% of the match was the chicks interfering and then Macho Man would put all his weight onto the opponent when he hit the elbow smash because his own body was completely shot. He legit injured at least 2 or 3 opponents that way. Macho was desperate here to stay relevant.

@leetdahl For a little while they sort of rebooted Bischoff's character, after the whole NWO Elite thing fell apart (as well as WCW as a whole falling apart). He was just a face executive at this point. The most I remember him doing was jumping in the ring and counting 3 when Kidman botched the SSP and landed on the ropes against Regal. I have a feeling Bischoff jumping in was unscripted since Kidman looked seriously hurt.

When was this? I don't remember Bischoff ever doing regular commentary other than back before the NWO. There was NWO and then that whole New Blood thing, but when was this???
