@0318kent same reason many people use vertical foregrips , many find it more conformable and stable , and on real firearm helps with controlling recoil

@0318kent it's more comforting for many people, and almost all soldiers hold their rifle that way cus you get much better stability of the gun...

@0318kent It's funny because Chris Costa even tells people to hold the magazine if it's comfortable for you when dealing with submachine guns, especially the MP5.
