妖獸都市 Wicked City

改編同名日本動畫。監製徐克成功注入香港過渡期的不安於本片，令片中「人/妖不分」多了一份香港人才體會得到的「特殊含意」。

導演麥大傑成功拍出超現實和時代感，切合片中「冰凍石屎森林」的背景。雖然本片的特技水平未臻完善，但幾場重頭戲(妖閉空間、中銀大廈之戰)都能拍出荷里活特技片所欠缺的­創意和觸覺。日本名宿仲代達矢參與演出「元大宗」一角，堪是一時之選。絕對是港日一次Mixed-culture的實驗之作，成績可觀。

Taki is assigned to go after Daishu, a businessman who is suspected by the police to be selling the drug "happiness", a drug from the Rapter's world that causes people to "evaporate" if they stop taking it. Actually it is another group of Rapters that are selling the happiness. The second group attacks Daishu's group, and eventually Taki, Daishu, and Daishu's daughter join forces to fight the evil Rapters. Lots of psychic powers, shape changing and general weirdness.

Based on the popular Japanese sci-fi comic strip, "Wicked City" is about a futuristic Hong Kong on the verge of a take over by the Reptoids--ruthless monsters disguised as humans. They work amongst us, they live within us and their destiny is our demise. Packed with non-stop action and special effects, "Wicked City" will glue you to the screen until the astonishing end.

Ive been trying to find the movie from 1992, not the animation. I found one online, but it has some scenes deleted, like the one where the guy revieves bullets, he catches them and throws them back maybe from his mouth and the wounded girl gets shot.

Does anyone have the full movie?

@matrixlone Yes, sorry, i saw the VHS in early 90s. But I meant, if they have made it into a DVD, it must be available somewhere, at least in "Asia"

But, I would love to find its original dvd
