Another great duet with a celebrity and a S.S. cast member.

  • This is such a classic........ Freddie, we will all miss you!

  • Bob looks like he's having so much fun with this number! Irving Berlin wrote Play a Simple Melody as a counterpoint (and, I'm guessing, as an argument over whether to play a nostalgic simple melody OR ragtime? 'cause rags weren't old in 1914, and they certainly aren't simple) but I like that this is just Bob & the CB, so I can sing along whichever verse Bob isn't singing. :)

  • They were late? Shouldn't the trombonist be to blame? lol

  • my god how old is this?

  • Looks like alotta fun

  • Oh my this is old!!!! I think the only ones left are Gene Watts and Chuck Daellenbach! (Fred Mills RIP!)

  • Thanks so much for posting this video! I've seen this segment only once—and that was 27½ years ago! I remember how I liked the way the men play their instruments instead of speaking!

  • I'm surprised that it wasn't the horn that was late :P

  • wow..

  • This song was used on "The Muppet Show", too, as sung by Jean Stapleton and Fozzie Bear!
