As Barack Obama, the US president, holds talks with his Palestinian counterpart, Mahmoud Abbas at the White House in the latest bid to address the Israeli-Palestinian peace conflict, Al Jazeera's Ghida Fakhry spoke to Al Jazeera's senior political analyst, Marwan Bishara, and Rob Malley, the former Arab-Israeli Affairs advisor to President Bill Clinton.
She asked whether the Obama administration realises it may have to engage with the Palestinian group Hamas to secure peace.
