Effective 2011, The Chicago Classic will be one of 13 events that are included in the NASDE circuit. NASDE is the National Association of Swing Dance Events, which awards points and prize money to the top place competitors in the Classic, Showcase and All Star Jack & Jill Divisions. Competitors accumulate points for placesments at NASDE events throughout the year and the competitors with the most points by the end of the year are awarded cash prizes at the US Open Swing Dance Championships.by dancebook http://www.dancebook.org

Oh and that's really bizarre....I just noticed as I was reading about the Chicago Classic that this video was uploaded on my birthday almost 3 years ago. Hmm...maybe something's telling me I should go to the Classic this year...interesting.

This is one of my most favorite choreographed piece. Their moves are tight and together. Appreciate it, from one dancer to another!

I have been an instructor and Manager of several studios for years (in many styles of dance). I must give them all of my love and respect for great choreography, connection, technique, and most of all.....style. West Coast is my favorite social dance. Love this routine and you both as a couple!!
